I'm a serious collector of police badges from the Buffalo New York area including Buffalo City Police, Erie County Sheriff's Department and all municipal police departments within Erie County .  I also collect Buffalo Fire Department badges.  Along with my Buffalo interests, I collect police badges from particular Maryland departments listed below. I now have over 800 badges in my collection.  I'm a police officer with a Maryland Police department but grew up outside of Buffalo which helps to explain my passion for the region. On the following pages are badges from each department within the county.  Erie County has alot of small departments, some of which are now defunct.   Collecting badges is an interesting hobby, and it's  great way of preserving a department's history.
